"Most might ask what is the reason for meeting the people that we come across in life? I assume that as adults in the real world of corporate America or wherever it is that life takes us, we don't really read into deep reason for meeting people, we simply view people initially as coworkers, managers, receptionist, store clerks, presidents etc.
When I first met Rosanne I didn't think much of it. I simply thought it was just another person in my life that I happen to come across. It wasn't until after a few weeks that she started to figure me out through simple conversations that transitioned into personal conversations, a joke between two people, advice on some of the vital things in life. As we became closer friends she noticed my potential to become a better person and made me realize that because of the person that I am that I should be rewarding myself with the good things in life that I truly deserve and capable of obtaining. Rosanne took the initiative to take me under her wing or as she might say “adopted me.” She changed my name from Carlos, to Warrior in Training (WIT).

"Since I was a child my mother has taught me how to identify, accept and manifest all my thoughts and dreams. I grew up with a woman who showed my brothers and I that we were in control of our lives, and that we could accomplish anything and everything we wanted. She taught me how to love and be loved, how to forgive but not forget, how to equally give and take, and most of all how to listen to everyone, but more importantly, listen to myself. I learned from her that being "alone" and "lonely" are two very different things. You will be the one Constant from the beginning till the end of your life, so if you "find" that person, loneliness will never be a part of you. It was this Positive Outlook on life I was raised with, that led me to always journey confidently into whatever aspiration I had. At a very young age I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life and because of my mother, the possibility of failure was never even a thought. I still have a lot of life to live, yet at my age, I can confidently say I know what I want from life. But most of all who I am, which is a question people are constantly asking themselves. When I speak to people of my dreams, my goals, my conscious effort to lead an authentic life, they ask me how I have come to be aware of all these things. I always credit my mother, to which they have responded "She sounds wonderful, but you should also take some credit for yourself since you're the one doing all the work." To which my response has and always will be "Yes, I do take credit and responsibility for every choice I make. But I would not have the tools or know how to make those choices if it was not for her." My mother is Rosanne Leslie, and I am proud to say I was her first client.
